Privacy Policy

Effective 25 October 2026

Scope

This policy describes how Pearl Testing processes personal data when you use our website, workspace, testing tools, support channels, and billing integrations.

Data we process

We process account details such as name, email address, authentication records, workspace membership, and consent records. Workspace users may add testing data, Bugs, comments, evidence files, and product configuration. Billing is processed by Stripe; Pearl receives only the billing information needed to operate the subscription.

Why we process data

We process data to provide and secure the service, authenticate users, operate workspaces, store testing records and evidence, provide support, enforce subscription capacity, meet legal obligations, and improve reliability. Our legal bases may include contract performance, legitimate interests in security and service operation, consent where required, and legal obligations.

Sharing and processors

We use service providers to operate Pearl, including hosting, email delivery, object storage, and Stripe for payment processing. These providers process data only as needed to provide their services. We do not sell personal data.

Retention and security

We retain account and workspace data while the workspace remains active and for a reasonable period required for support, security, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. Pending uploads are removed after one hour. We use technical and organizational controls intended to protect data, but no internet service is completely secure.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing, or receive a portable copy of your personal data. You may also withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Workspace administrators may need to handle requests concerning workspace content.
